"I feel more confident in the choice I had made to move forward. It's allowing me to go ahead and give less control to my fear. Other energy is coming out now as well. I feel like old, useless energy is being cleared out! Just being able to move some old, deep energy to the surface has helped me to be more at peace. I pay more attention to my breath now and how it is affecting my body. I'm getting much better at using my breath in other situations to find a more relaxed and calmer place. I think one of the biggest lessons in taking part in breath work is realizing there are different ways to move energy and to learn about myself. Finding something new and realizing I haven't tried it all yet is really reassuring.
I was really surprised by the emotion that came along with it and the change in emotion from the beginning of a session to the end of a session. Most of the time I felt totally different walking out the door than I did on the way in. In one of my sessions - not sure if it was the second or the third, I just started to cry. I felt overwhelming sadness but in the next moment was totally overcome by gratitude.
